协会介绍
乔治亚州中华针灸协会是一个在乔治亚州正式注册的、独立的、非营利的、兼在职教育的华人团体。协会成立于2005年，是目前乔州唯一华人执照针灸医师的非赢利性专业团体。现有正式会员（执照针灸医师）和友情会员（对中医怀有浓厚兴趣者）共四十多位。他们中既有行医四十多年的教授级水准的老中医师，也有刚从中医院校毕业不久的新生力量；既有经验老到的祖传中医针灸医师，也有从西医院校毕业的具有现代医学理论的中西医结合的中医针灸医师。在我们的团体中绝对是人才济济、卧虎藏龙。
新网站的建立可以作为本协会内部的信息交流平台；也可以是中医同行们一扇探讨、交流中医理论及临床实践的窗口；它更是弘扬祖国传统医学的一块阵地！
虽然中医针灸在美国落地开花已有四十个年头，但是至今仍然没有引起官方和主流社会的足够重视，最明显的就是联邦政府保险系统和各大健康保险公司几乎都未将针灸纳入医保的范畴。因此，我们还将继续团结所有的中医同仁们为针灸事业在美国获得应有的地位和利益而共同努力！
