Day of the Dead, Dia de los Muertos – FREE Admission Day

Nov 2 2014 – 12:00pm to 5:00pm

Visitors of all ages will learn about and experience a Day of the Dead Festival. Guests enjoy storytelling, crafts, and authentic Mexican food and entertainment. View a display of altars honoring lost family and friends that are decorated with flowers, favorite foods and beverages.

•Northlake Mall will celebrate its Simon Kidgits Club Ghostly Halloween Party from 6 – 8 p.m. in the Food Court with a balloon artist, bounce house and more! Attendees who join or renew their Kidgits Club membership at the event will receive a special gift, while supplies last. There will also be mall-wide trick-or-treating at participating stores! Guests can even purchase Halloween photos to remember the fun. Join in on the festivities and get into the spooky spirit!

Friday, October 31:
•Mall of Georgia will host its annual Simon Kidgits Club Fall Festival starting at 6pm at The Village. Simon Kidgits Club and Radio Disney are joining forces for the celebration, which will include entertaining performances by the Academy of Performing Arts, various games and activities, bounce houses, cotton candy machines and exciting prize giveaways! There will also be a costume contest at 2pm, so children are encouraged to dress up. Don’t miss this fun-filled event to celebrate the fall season!

Mall of Georgia invites families to a mall-wide trick-or-treat event, beginning at 1-3pm Stores throughout the mall will provide treats for all of the ghouls and goblins that attend, so be sure to wear a costume! In addition to a safe trick-or-treating experience around the mall, there will be plenty of fun activities for families and children of all ages to enjoy, including prize giveaways, a Halloween photo booth and more! For one night only, Swift-Cantrell Park will be transformed into “Spook-Central Park”. Come dressed in your best Halloween digs and showcase your cool moves during a MONSTER MASH DANCE PARTY from 5:00pm to 7:30pm. Zombie judges will be roaming the dance floor, awarding prizes every half-hour to their favorite costumed participants. Activities will also include inflatables and amusements, carnival games, a Trick-or-Treat Trail, children’s crafts, and impressive pumpkin displays.

After sundown, the City of Kennesaw’s 2014 Outdoor Movie Series concludes with a FREE screening of The Goonies (Rated PG). Bring a blanket or low-back chairs. Concessions will be available for purchase.

•Town Center at Cobb invites families to its annual Simon Kidgits Club Boo Bash from 6 – 8 p.m. outside the Food Court Main Entrance (weather permitting). Children can enjoy a frightfully fun evening of face painting, bounce houses, balloon artists and more! Radio Disney will be at the mall to host a costume contest and play fan-favorite music! Halloween photos will also be available for purchase in Center Court. In addition to the Boo Bash fun, Mall-wide trick-or-treating will take place at the same time from 6 – 8 p.m. and participating stores will have signs in their windows. Little ones will enjoy a howlin’ good time!

Description:
Harvest Square is an annual arts and crafts festival held each October. In addition to a wide variety of arts and crafts items, the festival includes Halloween Happenings for children. Carnival games and lots of prizes will thrill the little ones.

The show setting is at Glover Park in the historic Marietta Square. The Square is the home of many antique and specialty stores, excellent restaurants and interesting things to do.

After the vendors have closed for the evening stick around for the 4th Annual Marietta Zombie Walk benefiting MUST Ministries.
