Senior Project Manager

PowerBuild Construction LLC seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our growing and dynamic professional firm. The ideal candidate should provide leadership for Design/Build construction projects from development planning, preliminary budgeting, through final design, permitting, construction and project closeout.

Responsibilities
- Work with ownership to formulate strategic business plans
- Spearhead launch of new operational, sales and development initiatives
- Works on a wide variety of project with sizes and types varying from $1M to $150M
- Direct and integrate operations, sales, construction, legal, finance and other teams to ensure best outcome of development efforts
- Leads project managers, office staff, field crews and coordinate project strategy and share resources and best practices
- Ensures projects are adhering to all standards and practices
- Works cooperatively with top quality subcontractors, vendors and design professionals
- Manages project budgets, including hard and soft costs, to deliver projects with minimum change orders by working proactively with clients, subcontractors and field crews
- Communicates with field and office teams, consultants, trades and agency officials to successfully manage and execute development/construction process
- Exercises discretion to plan and coordinate site development completion with the on-site team to ensure the achievement of the company』s goals
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of land development, residential and commercial construction, community development, and mixed-use development
- Expertise on hotel development and construction
- Excellent strategy, problem-solving, financial modeling, and quantitative capabilities
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and all scopes of work for the state of Georgia.
- 15 years』 minimum experience
- Bachelor』s Degree preferred in Construction Management

Responsibilities
- Manage the overall hard cost budget(s)of the project(s) and adhere to intended design, quality, and schedule standards
- Competent to manage all aspects of a construction project on a stand-alone basis with only additional support from upper management on an infrequent basis
- Keep up to date on new construction methodologies and technologies and advise implementation as appropriate
- Negotiate/award/manage third party consultants and agencies to include testing and inspection firms, LEED consulting and commissioning during the construction process.
- Monitor, document and report construction activities

The ideal candidate should maintain and enhance the organization\’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and directs all aspects human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Responsibilities
Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends.
Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
